     Outside the window magnolia blossoms
     are at their best. Like past years
     My day hasn't come yet 
     The heartless half-moon behind cloud cracks
     is playing hide-and-seek alone
     I hope to meet that time before trees
     change from pretty clothes in green ones

     I'm sure that April's mild wind will make up
     my happy face that birds
     must be envy in the sky high
     A light breeze that has been staying 
     at Southern Mountain for long comes
     running now. Maybe she knows
     It'll present me fine smile and gala days

     But I'm afraid that Hebe will be soiled by
     yellow dust
     They are spreading over their black faces
     from earth to the blue in the daytimes
     If the Nymphs will be withered themselves
     the lonely minds also must be followers
     of them as if falling blossoms

     Now magnolia blossoms and half-moon are
     holding their breaths
     I know the Almighty never discourage his sons
     since the creation of Heaven and Earth. because
     of my day hasn't come yet
     I have a dream to see flowers
     that will come out from my desires

         -반달, play hide-and-seek : 숨바꼭질 하다, make up-치장하다,
         envy-질투하다, light breeze-미풍, gala days-축제일,잔칫날  
         Hebe-여신, yellow dust-황사, soil-더럽히다. spread over-
         널리 흩뿌리다. the blue-하늘, in the daytimes-낮에는, Nymph
         -요정, wither-시들다, as if falling blossoms-마치 낙화(落花)
        처럼, hold one's breath-숨죽이다, the Almighty-신, discourage
        -실망시키다, since the creation of Heaven and Earth-천지
        창조 이후, desires-욕망, 열망, 바램

 

         봄은 아직 오지 않았습니다

     창밖에 목련꽃들이 축제를 벌이고
     있습니다. 예전에 늘 그랬던 것처럼 아직
     나의 봄은 오지 않았습니다
     구름 뒤에 무정한 반달은 혼자서
     숨바꼭질을 하고 있습니다
     봄의 정령들이 예쁜 옷을 버리고 초록의
     지루한 외투로 갈아입기 전에
     나의 봄을 맞고 싶습니다

     4월의 바람이 새들조차 질투 할
     행복을 만들어 주리라 확신합니다
     南山에 머물고 있던 微風
     지금 달려오고 있는 중입니다
     女神은 그 바람이 나에게 미소와
     행복을 선물할 것을 알고 있겠지요

     그러나 여신이 무례한 黃砂에
     더럽혀질까 걱정이 되기도 합니다
     그들은 낮에도 검은 얼굴들을
     하늘과 땅에 드리우고 있습니다
     만일 봄의 요정들이 스스로 시든다면
     외로운 마음들 역시 落花처럼
     당신 뒤를 따를 수밖에 없겠지요

     목련꽃과 반달이 숨을 죽이고 있습니다 
     신께서는 세상을 만드신 이후
     자손들에게 결코 실망을 주지 않았습니다
     비록 나의 봄날은 아직 오지 않았지만
     내 가슴에서 피어 날
     꽃을 볼 수 있는 희망을 가지고 있습니다
